Where your data lives
Honesty applies to our technology as well. These are the suppliers behind this website, with their region and purpose. We choose European parties wherever possible and name the exceptions openly.
Our suppliers
- Website hosting: Scaleway, France. Serves this static website from within the EU.
- CDN and security: Cloudflare, a United States company with a worldwide network. It protects the site against attacks and speeds it up. This is our deliberate non-EU exception: at present there is no full European alternative offering the same level of protection. No medical data passes through Cloudflare.
- Website statistics: Plausible, EU. Cookieless and anonymous, which is why this site needs no cookie banner.
- Map on the homepage: Google Maps, United States. It loads on wider screens so that you can see straight away where we are. Your browser then shares data with Google, including your IP address.
- Business email: a European provider.
- Contact forms and email: AgentMail. It processes the requests and applications you send through this site, meaning your name, contact details and choices, and sends you the confirmation. No medical data passes through it; that lives solely in the medical record.
- Booking system and medical record: EU hosting with the region set out explicitly, and a data processing agreement in place before use.
Our principles
- We do not claim a fully European stack as long as even one non-EU processor is part of it. You can read that exception above.
- The data processing agreement is what counts, not a supplier's marketing page. We verify data regions again shortly before every major change.
- Medical data is held to the strictest requirements: EU storage, encryption, and access limited to the treatment team.
